FAQs

How long does a spray tan last?

A tan lasts 7-10 days depending how well you take care of your tan after application. HYDRATION is the key in prolonging your tan. Moisturize daily with a hydrating, paraben & sulfate free lotion, and drink lots of water. Lifestyle can also affect the longevity of your tan. For example, if you are sweating or swimming a lot, your tan may fade faster.

What do I wear to get a spray tan?

You can wear whatever you are comfortable in during your tan. Black clothing items are recommended (underwear, swimsuit, bra). I have nipple stickies and disposable black thongs on hand if you choose to wear those. Keep in mind if you have an event to attend, that you will have tan lines based on what you wear.

If I have sensitive skin, will I react?

A reaction with SunnaTan solution is very, very rare. If you have had a skin reaction to a previous spray tan with DHA in it, we can always do a test on your leg first.

Can you get a spray tan while pregnant/ breastfeeding?

Yes! Tons of pregnant/ breastfeeding moms get spray tans. The ingredients are safe for mamas to be and nursing babies. You can also wear nipple stickies if you’d like to protect your nips. However, if you have any hesitations you can always bring an ingredient list to your doctor prior to your tan.

Will I be orange?

No, definitely not. Spray tans have come a long way since the orange tan days. SunnaTan solutions were created to create a natural tone using non-toxic, vegan ingredients and I I find that it isn’t orange at all.

No, spray tans do. not have any UV protection. They will not prevent you from getting a sunburn, it’s important that you still wear SPF in the sun to protect your skin from sun damage.
